FAQS

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil stands for Cannabidiol oil. It is a product derived from Cannabis. It is a type of cannabinoid, which are the chemicals naturally found in marijuana plant. The oil does not make the user “high” and does not have the intoxicating effects associated with marijuana. CBD has no psychoactive effect whatsoever. The high or psychoactive effect comes from a cannabinoid know as THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which has been removed from our product.

Why use CBD Oil?

CBD oil is used by people who want to manage conditions like chronic pain, inflammation, depression and or other conditions.

What are the main types of CBD oil?

There are 3 main types of CBD oils:

  1. Full Spectrum – Contains all phytochemicals naturally found in the plant including CBD and helper compounds (trace cannabinoids, terpenes, amino acids and essential oils). Includes only trace amounts of THC.
  2. Broad Spectrum – same as full spectrum but removes all traces of THC.
  3. Isolate – a pure concentration of CBD. Ideal for those who need high doses but does not contain any other cannabinoids or terpenes. Isolate does not include the helper compounds.

What type of CBD Oils do you sell?

We sell full spectrum CBD oils. As studies show, CBD is more effective when it includes the helper compounds. This delivers a range of health benefits such as stress relief and pain relief.

What concentration would I need?

Those trying CBD Oil for the first time along with those treating a mild condition, should start with a lower concentration. Everyone is different so the dosage that’s right for someone else may not be right for you. Concentration is dependent on dosage. If you know that you need a high dose of CBD, then a higher concentration would be a better choice as you would need to take more of a lower concentration to get the effect you need.

How do I use CBD Oils?

CBD Oil is most effective when it is placed under the tongue and held there a minute or two before swallowing. Currently there is no exact dosage that should be taken for a particular condition so you will need to find the dose that works best for you. Start slow with a couple of drops a day and gradually increase until you notice an improvement in your symptoms.

Are CBD Oils legal in the UK?

CBD oils are completely legal in the UK provided they are derived from an industrial hemp strain that is EU approved or come from outside the EU.
